I was lucky enough to attend the 2021 French Grand Prix, during what was undoubtedly the most incredible Formula 1 season of the decade!

Instead of following Mercedes’ one-stop strategy, Red Bull switched Verstappen to a two-stop approach, bringing him in for fresh tires later in the race.

This decision allowed Verstappen to chase down Hamilton in the final laps. With just two laps to go, he made a decisive move on the Mistral Straight, using DRS to pass Hamilton and reclaim the lead. From there, he pulled away and crossed the finish line first, securing a crucial victory in his championship battle against Hamilton.
